On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Westerwald Choral Association, we had Oliver Gies write our own association song, which is to be sung by all choirs of the choir association – the association song has been written for three choral genres.

that no one here ever liked to be silent,
Everyone wants to sing here.
You can hear it clearly as far as the Rhine: This must be a country of choirs.
You can sometimes hear in the evening light, not the forest with loud sounds.
She's with you, because singing makes your heart free
Sing yourself high out as you call into the woods o sound it out.
Everyone sings with enthusiasm, because singing keeps the soul young.
