Following the successful choir open-air events ‘ChorAktiv’, which have been held at different venues every two years since 2004, we will present the ninth edition of ‘ChorAktiv’ on Saturday, 28 June 2025 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the market square in Bad Marienberg.
In its open-air event, the choir association Westerwald presents representative choirs from the area of the choir association Westerwald. Powerful choirs from the fields of children's and youth choir, women's choir, mixed choir and project choir will present their skills and entertain listening with a varied repertoire of choral literature of traditional and modern style.
The event is designed in such a way that visitors can join in at any time, enjoy choral singing while standing, sitting or enjoying a coffee or ice cream and devote themselves to the musical enjoyment of the lectures for any length of time. This open choral action is intended to appeal to those who are already interested in choral singing, but also in particular to visitors from Bad Marienberg and the surrounding area who have not yet turned to choral singing, and to arouse their interest.
