As a successor to Alfred Labonte, the association's day on 01.03.2026 in Hattert Dr. Tanja Machalet<\/strong> elected as the new head of the Westerwald Choral Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Dr. Tanja Machalet, member of the Bundestag and active singer in a choir of the choir association, the project choir Wallmerod, we have found a candidate who is very committed to the cause of choral singing and also has best connections to many political, social and economic decision-makers, who will certainly benefit the choral singing in the Westerwald and the association work in the choir association Westerwald.<\/p>\n\n\n

Appointment of Alfred Labonte as Honorary Chairman<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to his services to choir singing in the Westerwald, Alfred Labonte, who led the association since the merger of Ober- und Unterwesterwald to the choir association Westerwald in 2015, was appointed honorary chairman.

\u00a7 12 The governing body of the Articles of Association<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1) The head of the association to be chosen by the day of the association (executive and extended management of the association, with the exception of the representation of the choir groups)<\/em> shall consist of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 persons and shall be elected for a period of three years. The association management consists of the managing and extended association management and the representation of the choir groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2) The specific division of tasks of the management of the association shall be decided at the first meeting of the management of the association following the election (constituent meeting), which shall be convened and chaired by the management of the association, and shall be laid down in a distribution of tasks plan or rules of procedure. This must be announced to each member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(3) At least the following responsibilities must be determined (executive management of the association) and chosen from the day of the association:
\u2013 Spokesperson for the management and deputies of the association,
\u2013 financial management;
\u2013 Management,
\u2013 Musical direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Executive Board is formed by the Executive Board in accordance with Section 26 of the German Civil Code (BGB). They represent the CV WW individually, but are bound internally by the decisions of the association management and the association day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(4) In addition to the tasks of the managing association management, the following tasks are to be regarded as important functions of the CV WW (further association management):
\u2013 Support for children's choirs and young talents,
\u2013 Training, association and event management;
\u2013 Press and public relations,
\u2013 Representation of choir groups<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These areas of responsibility, if they are established, are to be assigned personnel responsibilities at the Association Day, on a proposal from the management of the association, in the context of the election to the management of the association. The representation of the choir groups in the association management is determined and sent by the respective choir groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personal union is permitted with the exception of the managing association management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
